Leadership Opportunity Available for a Sonographer, QLD

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and experienced Sonographer to join a professional team in the Capricorn Coast in Queensland. You will be joining a imaging provider that is focused on creating a positive working environment by valuing your opinion and sonography experience.  

About the Position:

  • You will be performing general, obstetric, vascular and musculoskeletal examinations. 

  • This is a leadership role that allows you to share your passion and knowledge in ultrasound with a great team. 

  •  You are required to work between leading private and public health facilities. 

  •  Flexible work hours, full-time or part-time. 

  •  Experience with Phillips equipment is highly regarded. 

  •  You will be joining a team of well-respected and approachable Radiologists. 


  •  Training in your desired sub-specialties can be provided and are encouraged to grow your skills base. 

  •  Due to working in private and public facilities, you will have access to interesting cases. 

  •  Work life balance. The four sites are located in a beautiful location that is only one hours flight from Brisbane and on the doorstep is the famous Great Barrier Reef. 

  •  Negotiable annual salary that includes extra CPD allowances and leave (5 weeks per year plus leave loading). 

  • Relocation allowance. 

The Successful Candidate: 

The imaging provider is seeking a Sonographer who has a strong focus on patient care and is committed to making a difference. You will be joining a medical imaging provider that has established a strong reputation for quality, excellence and innovation. 

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound / DMU (or equivalent)

  • ASAR Registration 

  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
