Ultra Low Dose Radiation CT Scans

low dose ct scanner

Computed Tomography is a non-invasive imaging procedure that is commonly used to assist in diagnosing health conditions such as broken bones, trauma, internal bleeding, cancer or signs of heart disease. A CT scan delivers radiation to the body therefore concerns over patient safety due to radiation exposure has increased in previous years. Radiology sites throughout Australia are now offering ultra-low dose radiation CT scans which delivers quality images with the lowest radiation dose possible to the patient.

Whilst visiting radiology sites throughout New South Wales it was not noticeable that a majority of practices are now offering bulk billing scans to all patients.
